My Grandfather Captain Sebastian Cavallaro; who Trained Black Americans before integration of the U.S. Navy on the Great lakes.

His Brother Salvatore Cavallaro an American Hero who was awarded the Navy Cross after his death.

Sal at 23 years of age lead American Forces landing on D-Day at Sicily and the invasion of Salerno.

My Uncle Edward V. Kelly 82 Airborne - battle of bulge, by amazing chance met his brother Thomas in France, before Thomas was later killed in action.

He Then was transferred under then Sullivan law to Combat engineers was sent to Alaska to help build the Alkan Highway to fight off the Japanese Invasion of our Northern most shores .

My Cousin: John Sheppard 1971 John was killed in Ethiopia, John was part of a US task-force in place to defend King of Ethiopia.
